I also enjoy baking, playing the piano, and spending time with my family and friends. My family is a huge part of my life and I am so thankful to have them as my support system. I treasure the time that we spend together and I am so grateful to have been brought up with the morals and values that my parents have instilled in me. I also have a cat named Flo, and I like to dress her up and take selfies with her. She likes it, I swear. ;)
After graduating high school in May of 2014, I plan to attend a University and work towards obtaining a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I would love to become a sports reporter on ESPN, calling the action live from the sidelines of the SuperBowl! Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I love meeting new people and learning new things, so being a sports reporter would be the best of both worlds for me. :)
I entered my first pageant about two years ago, and instantly I had caught the "pageant bug". Right away, I knew that my ultimate dream was to walk across the Miss Teen USA stage. It feels amazing to know that all of my hard work and dedication has paid off and now I will be living the dream in just several short months! Pageants have taught me self discipline, a hard work ethic, interview skills, how to carry myself with grace and poise, given me more self-confidence, and taught me that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I know that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to, and I want to inspire others to feel the same way!
I am BEYOND blessed to have this amazing opportunity given to me, and I am so excited to see what this year has in store! Stay posted to read all about my appearances, volunteer work, and upcoming events.
